2010
TAXED
ENOUGH
ALREADY
“You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play.”
Lee Iacocca
“Never, in the history of the United States, have so many been controlled
by so few!
If you don't like folks in Washington irresponsibly spending your tax dollars and telling you what to teach your children, how to care for your family, how to conduct your business, etc., then you have the heart of a tea party activist.... whether you can
make the meetings or not.
We know that we have the legal right, given to us by the United States Constitution, to govern ourselves as locally as possible!
Furthermore, we have concrete plans to
turn this top down type of government around in Louisiana!”

Action Alert:
1. Please read up on LA Senate Bill 26, which was introduced into the La Legislature on March 29, 2010 by Senator A.G. Crowe of Slidell. Then, please call or visit La Senator John Smith and Rep James Armes.
Ask them to support this legislation and Senator Crowe’s attempts to free La from Obamacare by
nullifying it in the state.
2. Please call Louisiana State Attorney General Caldwell and thank him for filing a lawsuit (questioning the legality of Obamacare) against the Federal Government
on behalf of Louisianians.
“Under the direction of an Administration, which is on record as saying "we can’t spend money fast enough", the 111th Congress has become the poster child for reckless, runaway spending.
Anyone who voices opposition to this “borrow and bailout” mentality is quickly silenced with anti-democratic tactics and measures used to stop legislation and amendments from being offered that would protect American taxpayers.
Enough is enough......Let your voices be heard in Washington and insist Congressional leadership represent the American people.”
Freshman Congressman John Fleming
“In a day when it is fashionable to assume that the government has the power and means to right every wrong, we should remember that the U.S. Constitution limits the national government to the exercise of powers expressly granted to it. The Tenth Amendment provides:
‘The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited to it by the States, are reserved to the States respectively or to the people.’
This principle of limited national powers, with all residuary powers reserved to the people or to the state and local governments, which are most responsive to the people, is one of the great fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution.” Dallin H. Oaks
“”The powers delegated to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the state governments are numerous and indefinite.” James Madison
“U.S. citizens should... study the Constitution... the separation of powers, the individual guarantees in the Bill of Rights, the structure of federalism, the sovereignty of the people, and the principles of the rule of the law. They should oppose any infringement of these inspired fundamentals.” Dallin H. Oaks
“There are principles that, if applied and acted upon, are conducive to the social, spiritual, and economic well-being of individuals as well as nations. They came from God himself to Moses and form the foundation for civilized society. These principles... are what we commonly refer to as the Ten Commandments.” Ezra Taft Benson
